Nuestra Señora del Rosario Cooperative
In Alcubillas since 1954, in the heart of the Campo de Montiel. A tradition of clay-jar (tinaja) winemaking and quality wines: Camino En Medio and Tubillones.
A cooperative tradition since 1954
The Nuestra Señora del Rosario Agricultural Cooperative of Castilla-La Mancha, located in Alcubillas (Ciudad Real), in the heart of the Campo de Montiel, was founded on 3 March 1954 by thirty-seven members who wanted to add greater value to their product, processing around 300,000 kilos of white Airén grapes.
Today it has more than 170 members and a production of 5,000,000 kilos of red (Tempranillo) and white (Airén) grapes, within the Valdepeñas Protected Designation of Origin. Throughout its history it has grown and innovated, moving from traditional clay-jar winemaking to modern production that results in quality wines.
Today you can visit the oldest part of the winery, which reflects this history of hard work and evolution. Its wines Camino En Medio and Tubillones are the essence and soul of this cooperative.
